CHURCH ANNIVERSARY

Saint John AME Church celebrates 155 years of active worship and ministry, 90 years of existence as as an independent A.M.E. Church and 10 years as the Miracle on Millbranch.  Come join us as we take a trip down memory lane of our church history and have light refreshments after 11 A.M. service on August 25, 2019.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION SUNDAY

It's our end of the Conference Year celebration!  Church life and ministry is not possible without the ongoing voluntary sacrificial service of our membership.  Join us as we extend set-aside appreciation toward our servant leadership in all of our ministries on the 5th Sunday, September 29, 2019.

WEST TENNESSEE ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The West Tennessee Annual Conference will be held at Saint Andrew A.M.E. Church in Memphis, TN from Thursday October 10th through Sunday, October 13, 2019.  The Annual Conference is held under leadership and direction of the Presiding Bishop.  It is comprised of the ordained itinerant and local elders and deacons of active, supernumerary and superannuated status as well as licentiates currently serving in varying capacities within the geographic boundaries of the West Tennessee Annual Conference.  It is also composed of the elected lay leadership of the varying auxiliaries and organizations of the church serving in this geographic area as well as representative lay delegates elected from each church that is a member of the Conference.  This year precedes General Conference which is held every four years, and thus elections for delegates to this Conference, which will convene in Orlando, FL in July of 2020, will be held.  Opening worship service and roll call are Thursday night and closing worship service is Sunday afternoon at Saint Andrew.
